Our "special purpose business appraisals" (level 3) are for more complicated companies, for situations facing potential litigation, for valuation for estate or other taxes, and for valuation of minority interests and interests with restricted marketability. They are compliant with USPAP and IRS standards and guidelines.
They contain analyses and documentation beyond that needed for Level 1 and Level 2 appraisals.
Additional Standards for Level 3 Business Appraisals:
In addition to the USPAP standards, level three appraisals are prepared to be in compliance with all applicable IRS Revenue Rulings and existing case law.
