The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) is a professional association that has trained over 17,500 CPAs and other valuation and consulting professionals in the fields of business valuation, financial forensics and various related specialty services serving the legal and business communities.  Approximately 80% of the members have obtained the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) or Certified Forensic Financial Analyst (CFFA) designation.

The National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accredited NACVA’s Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) designations.  NACVA’s CVA/AVA designations are the only valuation credentials accredited by the NCCA.

Since 1977, the NCCA has been accrediting certifying programs based on the highest quality standards in professional certification to ensure the programs adhere to modern standards of practice in the certification industry.  NCCA is the accrediting body of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE), whose mission is to promote excellence in competency assurance for practitioners in all occupations and professions.
